A Bit About Me...

I'm Emma  - blogger, copywriter and parenting commentator. In 2012 I decided that I wanted to combine my love of writing with my parenting experience so I set up Hertfordshiremummy.com - a blog about life as a mother in Hertfordshire. My blog provides a mixture of parenting insights, recipes, craft ideas, and reviews. I love living in Herts and so I also write about great days out in Hertfordshire and help to promote local business.

I want my blog to be a fabulous resource for mums in Hertfordshire whether they want to find a child friendly day out, a great craft to do with their kids or a tasty but frugal recipe.

Writing is a passion and in my previous life I worked in a marketing and communications role for a large blue chip company. I'm experienced in writing engaging marketing copy and putting together high profile advertising campaigns, and I also have a good understanding of brand guidelines and the power of the written word.

I have appeared on BBC Three Counties radio and have written articles for a number of online publications.
