As the nights draw in and the days get colder I start to think about Christmas presents! This year I’m very excited as I have found a fantastic solution for both my children with the new Mattel Apptivity toys.
My son is car obsessed and I know that the Hot Wheels Apptivity toy will keep him captivated for ages as you can actually drive your toy car along a number of exciting roads and terrains on your iPad. My daughter has just started to get into Angry Birds and will really enjoy playing with the King Pig toy.
The Apptivity toy is also a really practical idea for parents as all you need is an iPad and your children can be entertained anywhere and everywhere. I know that my kids always struggle on long car journeys but with this toy could hopefully put an end to the dreaded phrase “are we there yet?” as they would be too engrossed in their game! It would also be great to take on holiday with you and to provide entertainment for your children in places where you don’t want to take large cumbersome toys.
The Mattel Apptivity toys are definitely the toy of the future and are now firmly on my Christmas list for the children (and I’m sure my husband and I will be trying them out too).
