A New Bedroom!

Well, me and my husband have finally agreed on something...we are going to get an attic conversion! As the children are getting bigger and the pile of toys downstairs is getting larger we have realised that we really do need more space and going up into the loft seems the ideal solution. It means that the children will then have a big bedroom each to play in and we will have the new bedroom in the loft. I'm also hoping that this means I can create a lovely relaxed space for me to get a bit of peace and quiet.

I've been having a look online to get some interior design inspiration. I think lighting is really important and I think these chandeliers from Mail Order Lighting would make a very pretty feature in a bedroom.

I've always liked the designs from Next as they are very on trend, bright and modern. I love the way that they give you a totally co-ordinated collection so you can make sure that everything goes together really well and I will be flicking through their catalouge to get some ideas.

My other favourite store is John Lewis and I particularly like their range of curtains and blinds which are both beautiful and good quality. We will probably get velux windows for the loft and will need to get blinds rather than curtains. I love this bright pattern.
